Barbarian Scaleplex Recap

Well I got to start my day off with some great people out at Barbarian Scaleplex. Met up with Troy and Casey who had my scalerfab goodies waiting for me. I quickly got to work installing my new ScalerFab pro series Scx10 narrow front bumper with trail bar, Scx10 g6 rear bumper, and heavy duty land anchor. I managed to get everything installed with ease and the parts fit like a glove. Now I was ready for the fun stuff.

The course out at Barbarian Scaleplex was very well set up. It had plenty of obstacles that put my scalerfab gear to the test and they passed flawlessly, but I can’t say the same for my rig. Within the first five minutes my servo winch decided it was going to stop functioning. Shortly after that my next failure happened. One of my front cvds quit working for the day.

Long story short I drove the rest of the day with 3- wd, no winch, and still managed to pull off a fourth place finished for the event and third place for the local series event. All and all it was a great time and I can’t wait to go to my next comp!
