ARCC Scale Series- Woolly Hollow State Park

What a weekend! We arrived on Friday and set up camp. Had a good look around at Woolly Hollow State Park. Beautiful state park in central Arkansas.

Saturday morning we headed for the competition area. The terrain was awesome for crawling and everyone was pretty much there. The courses were set up and ready to go. Three courses total, every class ran the same courses.

There were 25 drivers total with almost everyone running more than one class. Class 1.5 ran first. I managed a 2nd place finish in this class with the G-Made Komodo.

Class 1.9 was a different story. Almost everyone ran this class. Tristen and I didn't do so well in 1.9. Some last minute modifications to the G6 caused two brushed motors to overheat and go up in smoke. But we finished all three courses and had a blast in the process.

Scalerfab gear held up and made a huge difference on the lines through out the course. Couldn't ask for a better product.

Thanks Arkansas RC Crawlers for putting on the event and Woolly Hollow State Park for maintaining such a beautiful place in our state.
