801rcc comp at White Rock

As always Mike Thompson from 801rcc put on another amazing comp. He is known to set up some of the toughest courses that will put your rig and skill to the test. Today's comp was out at White Rock near Dugway Utah. We couldn't have asked for better weather !! Safety is always a concern because of several steep climbs and loose rock. There were several drivers that ended with a dnf, this was definitely a tough course !! Me and my friend John took it nice and steady through the 200 gates, helping each other throughout the day. The KLR's gripped well all day & I definitely put my scalerfab bumper to the test but this thing is tuff !! I ended up placing 10th out of 34 in the 1.9 class and John finished 8th. I'm looking forward to the next comp in Wendover, Nv.
