Santiam Hobbies Comp

It was a perfect day for a indoor crawler comp at Santiam Hobbies in Lebanon Oregon especially with our lovely Oregon liquid sunshine coming down.

it was time to pack up the family and the Team ScalerFab tiny trucks and pick up my buddy Philip aka "Bandito" on the way out of town. It's a short distance between Keizer and Lebanon only about a 45-minute drive.

Once we arrived and unloaded everything we headed inside found a place to set up.which they had tables out for people to Set up on with power so you can charge your batteries.

After going over the trucks to make sure everything was okay it was time to get registered and paid our $5 fee end-of-course Heckle are buddy Jessie one of the very nice volunteers that help put the event on.

It was time now for a quick drivers meeting to go over the rules and the point system and then a quick break for everybody to get their trucks ready and plugged in.

Now it's time to get rolling and my Team ScalerFab truck performed nicely but my own driver skills seem to go right out the window after we started..lol. after I completed the course and everything was done I ended up placing seventh overall... which was okay with me because we had such a good time laughing and heckling each other all day.
