Georgia Rock Zombies- East Coast Scale Series #1 Recap

On Sunday May 1st I attended the first comp of the East Coast Scale Series. It was help at the BBC compound in Cartersville, Georgia and was put on by the Georgia rock zombies. This comp was set up with 4 different gated courses. The 1st course had some very technical side Hill gates. I hit 2 gates on that course. The 2nd course was made up of mostly lose dirt and small rocks. I ended up with a perfect run on that course. The 3rd course had broken up concrete and asphalt and a very difficult climb make of wood. I ended up with a perfect run on that course also. The 4th course was make up of slick tree limbs and lose dirt. This course had one gate that was nearly impossible to not hit . I almost cleared it but right when I was about to clear it , my jeep took a bad bounce and hit the gate and was on its lid. So 1 gate and 1 rollover on that course. All in all it still ended up a good day for my ScalerFab jeep, getting me 2nd place in class 2. I'd like to say that if it wasn't for my ScalerFab sliders, there no way I could have made some of the technical turns in the courses. I can get the slider up on edge of an object and spin the jeep right around. This was a ScalerFab sponsored event . The 3 guys that received a ScalerFab gift card were very happy.
