Mountaineer Mayhem Event Recap

This past weekend I got the chance to attend Mountaineer Mayhem hosted by Expedition RC. Five of my fellow club members also made the trip to Kentucky to take part in the fun. The day started off a little chilly and overcast with light rain. The event was held at Wildcat Off-road Park and the conditions were wet and muddy thanks to all the rain leading up to the event. I'd never been to this park and I must say the terrain was impressive. The folks at Expedition RC put together an impressive course consisting of five stages spread across the awesome terrain at Wildcat Off-road Park.
I started off a little rocky, no pun intended, but gathered myself together after Gate 15 or so and had a blast throughout the day. My ScalerFab front bumper and sliders got a workout and worked like a champ all day. I also got to meet fellow ScalerFab Team Drivers Larry Morris and Brett Zachary. I even got to meet a fellow RC4WD Team Driver from Austria, talk about making a long trip to play with tiny trucks!
