I always enjoy going down to Santiam hobbies indoor crawler comp in Lebanon, Oregon. They have a friendly staff and the course continues to improve every month. The day started out like it usually does with a lot of these comps with my buddy Philip AKA "bandito" and myself carpooling to the event. After grabbing some much-needed breakfast we arrived at our destination. After going in paying our entry fee and making sure that our trucks were in Tip-Top shape and ready to go. we asked the owner Matt if we could go into the back lot on his outdoor track and race around with a couple of our go-fast vehicles for a little bit while waiting for the start of the event. After just a little bit of bashing around it was time for the event to start. There was only a couple competitors to go before it was time for my run. My team scalerfab SCX10 perform great. There was a couple places where I had to bust out the winch and use my scalerfab land anchor but I still felt really good about my run. After all the competitors completed the course it was time to tally up the scores. I ended up in first place for the 1.9 class. I would like to thank Santiam hobbies for putting on yet another great event. I would also like to thank ScalerFab for giving me the opportunity to be a team driver. Now it's really time to buckle down and prepare for axialFest 2016.
