Southern Utah Rock Crawling

It's heating up in Southern Utah as Summer is upon us now. We had our 3rd event of our series for Southern Utah Rock Crawling. We had a great turnout and the courses were fun and challenging. Scalerfab sponsored the event along with several other companies. So plenty of goodies were raffled for. Our next event will be June 18th at Three Peaks in Cedar City, Utah. Should be a lot of fun and much cooler as well!

I wanted to talk some about our local hobby shop Sky RC. A few months ago it was broken into and pretty much emptied out. Cody May (the owner) was quite devastated by it. With help from local law enforcement and the RC community most of the merchandise was recovered. The shop is still up and running and going strong. I can't tell you how many Hobby shops have come and gone over the years here in Southern Utah and how many shops I've seen get robbed. I can say it makes me proud and happy that even after an unfortunate robbery Sky RC is still open and it's because of our local RC community. With that being said support your local Hobby shops people! After all this hobby is all about having fun and making good friends in the process. Happy Trails everyone!
