#Axialfest2016 was absolutely epic this year. my son Eric and myself ran the adventurist class which was awesome with all the scale touches such as signs, buildings and Bridges.

My family and myself showed up at Cisco Grove Campground Thursday morning and after getting checked in and setting up camp It was time to go wander around.

The first thing I wanted to go do was meet my sponsor scalerfab for the first time. Casey and Troy were already set up with their Booth when I showed up to say hi. After meeting each other and chatting for a few minutes I picked up my new rear scalerfab winch bumper which is Awesome by the way and my son got a new front bumper for his deadbolt.

The Adventurous class started Friday afternoon/evening after the opening ceremony and the national anthem which was sung by Casey. Which by the way she performed awesome.lol

Now it was time to hit the trails we started on trail B and we ended our night with Trail D around 11:45 which each Trail had a 150 gate markers. Each Trail has their own challenges from water to dirt Bridges, rock you name it axialfest had it.

Without having really any problems the night before besides snapping one winch line which I repaired it with some new scalerfab winch line which never broke the rest of the time we were there.lol. thank goodness.

So Saturday morning bright and early my son and I hit the trails again starting with Trail E and finishing with Trail F before lunch. After lunch it was time to go over the vehicles again to make sure everything was okay which I'm glad I did because I was missing both bottom screws from my knuckles not too much of a big deal and an easy fix with a little bit Loctite.

After those quick fixes it was time to finish the trails so we did Trails G and A to finish out our day and it was time to turn in our driver cards. I must say my favorite Trails were C,D and E. I just loved all the bridges and water and scale goodness out on the trails.

After turning in our driver cards it was time for the awards ceremony and raffle which was cool they gave away a lot of prizes from sponsors.

If you have not had the opportunity to go to an AxialFest yet you are missing out on the largest surface scale RC event on the planet and it just continues to grow every year.
